A law firm is currently seeking an Attorney for their Springfield office, specializing in employment law. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal expertise in employment law matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and representing clients in employment-related disputes. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of employment laws, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to advise clients on a range of employment issues.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of employment law cases, including discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations.
• Provide legal advice to clients on employment-related matters, including policy development and compliance.
• Draft and review employment contracts, agreements, and policies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and employment-related litigation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employment law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license, in good standing.
• 0-10 years of experience in employment law.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
