Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate Attorney to join its growing transactional law practice. This role focuses on corporate and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general business law. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work directly with clients to provide tailored legal solutions.

Duties

• Advise clients on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and securities-related matters.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of corporate and real estate contracts and agreements.

• Provide legal counsel on business structuring, entity formation, and regulatory compliance.

• Assist clients with corporate governance and risk management strategies.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to facilitate seamless transaction execution.

• Conduct due diligence and manage deal-related documentation.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive legal support.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience handling business law and real estate transactions.

• Some portable business is preferred but not required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio.

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in business and real estate matters.
