Duties

• Draft and review contracts, easements, opinion letters, and corporate governance documents

• Handle transactional legal matters involving real estate, corporate, and contract law

• Chair and participate in corporate client meetings

• Advise and interact with clients in-person and over the phone

• Implement and comply with county real estate and recorder requirements

• Manage multiple legal projects and administrative staff

• Maintain and organize electronic task lists and billing records

• Ensure availability for client meetings during business hours and occasionally in the evenings or on weekends

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or civil advisory work for municipalities or governmental organizations

• Prior work experience demonstrating a strong work ethic and dedication

• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail

• Strong personal and client service skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and sophisticated legal software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong drafting and legal research capabilities

• Effective project management and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
