A respected law firm is seeking a Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Estate Planning Practice in the Dallas office. The successful candidate will work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners to develop comprehensive estate and tax strategies. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated attorney to grow within a sophisticated practice handling estate planning, trust administration, charitable planning, and business succession matters.

Draft complex estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
Advise clients on estate, gift, generation-skipping transfer (GST), and income tax planning
Prepare business succession plans for closely held and family-owned businesses
Draft charitable giving documents and advise on philanthropic strategies
Handle estate and trust administration for taxable and non-taxable estates
Assist with probate proceedings and related filings
Prepare and review federal estate and gift tax returns
Advise on tax-exempt organization structuring and compliance
Collaborate with clients, accountants, financial advisors, and other legal counsel
3–5 years of experience in trust and estate planning
Proven experience handling high-net-worth estate and tax planning
Knowledge of probate, trust administration, and charitable planning
Ability to manage multiple client matters in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work independently and within a collaborative team
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax is preferred
Admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Must be in good standing with current bar(s)
Timely admission to the Texas Bar required as a condition of employment
Strong drafting, research, and analytical abilities
In-depth knowledge of estate, gift, and GST tax principles
Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive matters
Strong organizational and time management skills
Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work
