Duties

• Represent clients throughout all stages of workers' compensation claims, including hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and formulate strategic case plans

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements

• Analyze complex case issues and propose effective legal solutions

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel

• Collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal staff to gather evidence and build strong cases

• Maintain timely and accurate case documentation

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and firm procedures

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in workers’ compensation law

• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines

• Excellent legal research, analysis, and writing capabilities

• Comfortable negotiating settlements and advocating for clients

• Team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member of the California State Bar in good standing (required)
