A law firm seeks a full-time Litigation Attorney to join their team in Rosemead, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, particularly personal injury, and be capable of managing cases from inception through trial.

Duties

• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Conduct legal research and write mediation briefs.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Provide legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare for trial and develop trial strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the CA State Bar.
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Ability to manage litigation cases and take them to trial.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the CA State Bar.
