Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a talented Finance and Restructuring Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Finance & Restructuring practice. The successful candidate will handle a variety of corporate finance transactions, including working with financial institutions and borrowers. This is a hybrid position with multiple office locations available. The firm is dedicated to providing a full range of legal services to financial institutions, public and private companies, and private credit entities.
Location:
- Wilmington, DE.
Duties:
- Work on corporate finance transactions, including loan originations and real estate financings.
- Draft loan, security, intercreditor, and related documents.
- Advise on covenant compliance and manage due diligence teams.
- Lead specialists and manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
- Assist in restructuring processes for financial institutions, public and private companies, and private credit entities.
Requirements:
- 3 to 6 years of experience in corporate finance, particularly in commercial finance transactions and working with financial institutions.
- Strong experience in drafting loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and other related legal documents.
- Proven ability to advise clients on covenant compliance and manage due diligence teams.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Admitted to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills:
- Experience in corporate finance, including loan origination and real estate financings.
- Strong drafting skills, particularly in the areas of loan agreements and related legal documents.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage multiple teams and assignments simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
