A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work with experienced trial lawyers and develop litigation skills in a supportive environment.

Duties

• Handle document review and prepare discovery responses.
• Assist in interrogatory and deposition processes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and notices for filing.
• Attend trials, argue motions, and participate in hearings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in construction litigation and premises matters.
• Significant construction litigation and trial experience preferred.
• Strong drafting, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and deposition-taking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

Skills

• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills.
• Superior analytical skills, including data analysis and problem-solving.
• Sharp deductive reasoning and critical thinking.
