A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney with expertise in representing design professionals, preferably located in the Pacific Northwest, though open to any US location. The role involves handling complex litigation matters, including contract claims and construction defects.

Duties

• Represent design professionals in litigation involving professional negligence claims.
• Manage contract claims related to design changes causing additional costs or delays.
• Conduct pre-trial work, including motion practice and discovery.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare for trial in various courts and arbitration.
• Engage with insurance carriers and manage coverage issues.

Requirements

• Experience in construction law and litigation.
• Background in handling cases involving design professionals.
• Trial experience in federal, state, or tribal courts, and/or arbitration.
• Experience at a reputable law firm, with at least five years of practice.
• A portable book of business valued at $350K is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the United States.
