A law firm seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, handling a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution. Duties

• Support a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including case strategy development and trial preparation.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda in state and federal courts.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.
• Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Work closely with attorneys on complex matters involving general liability and related claims.
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit development.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff for efficient case management.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in the State of Texas.
• 1+ years of defense litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with general liability, personal injury, and related litigation preferred.
• Superior analytical and research skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
