Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal strategy sessions with clients to analyze their cases and develop effective legal plans.

• Represent clients in federal immigration proceedings and state court criminal cases.

• Oversee and analyze discovery materials and legal pleadings, guiding to ensure high-quality legal work.

• Advocate for clients by preparing for and presenting cases in court.

• Collaborate with other attorneys to ensure comprehensive legal representation.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed on case progress and available legal options.

• Lead and delegate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants to improve efficiency and case management.

• Participate in team meetings, legal training, and firm development initiatives.

• Develop and refine firm policies, procedures, and workflow systems for greater efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing immigration law (consideration may be given to candidates with relevant legal experience in related fields).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Deep understanding of immigration and criminal defense legal strategies.

• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative legal approaches.

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to outstanding service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing with IL State Bar Association.
