Cash Receipts Coordinator

The candidate will support the Firmwide Accounts Receivable/Cash Receipts Manager in areas relating to accounts receivable/cash receipts, collections and related reporting. Organize and post daily cash receipts, wire transfers, credit card payments and retainer applications as required. Maintain local trust account cash posting and disbursements. Scan all incoming checks to local lockboxes. Respond to internal/client inquiries related to accounts receivable balances, refund checks, stale-dated refund checks, receipt allocations, wire transfers and retainer applications. Prepare and input journal entries. Send collection letters as needed and makes follow-up calls at the manager's direction. Complete special projects, reporting and analysis as needed. Support and/or back-up all positions under same supervision. BS degree in Accounting is preferred. Should have 1+ year of related work experience. Law firm experience is a plus.
