Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Cherry Hill, NY, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on maritime and transportation law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in this field.

Duties:

• Represent clients in maritime and transportation law matters, including disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for filing in court.
• Assist with discovery, including document review and deposition preparation.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Participate in case strategy meetings with senior attorneys.
• Manage case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Handle administrative tasks associated with litigation cases.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on maritime and transportation law issues.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of litigation experience in maritime and transportation law.
• Admission to the NJ State Bar.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NJ State Bar.
