Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Attorney in New York to join their team focused on defending complex product liability cases, including environmental, asbestos, and talc matters, across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts.

Duties

• Take depositions, attend hearings, and mediations as required.
• Draft pleadings and briefs.
• Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis.
• Draft interrogatories and document demands.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Submit filings to the court.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in NY, NJ, and PA is required.
• Commercial litigation experience is preferred.
• Asbestos/toxic tort experience is preferred.
• Courtroom experience, including motions, is preferred.

• J.D./LLM
