Litigation Docket Specialist
The candidate must have at least 2-5 years’ experience in docketing, preferably using Compulaw, or litigation legal assistant/paralegal experience. Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills and the ability to recognize and act on important details and deadlines are also required. The candidate must be reliable and conscientious, have the ability to work under pressure, respond quickly to changing demands and be self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Most importantly, the candidate must be highly detail-oriented. High accuracy is a must. Receives and reviews mail, deliveries, and Federal Express packages for due dates and court deadlines. Calculates and enters dates in Compulaw Calendaring system. Processes attorney/secretary e-mails to docket. Remains abreast of court rule changes. Develops and maintains smooth working relationships with attorneys and staff.
