A Dayton-based law firm is actively seeking a litigation attorney with a strong background in personal injury matters to manage a dynamic caseload across Ohio. The role involves direct involvement in all stages of personal injury claims case investigation to resolution within a collaborative and fast-paced legal team environment.

Duties:

• Oversee a high-volume docket of personal injury cases from intake through resolution

• Conduct detailed investigations into case facts and compile supporting evidence for damages

• Engage in negotiations involving settlements, including lien resolution when applicable

• Foster and maintain productive communications with clients, opposing counsel, court officials, and insurance representatives

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and professional staff to achieve collective legal goals

• Provide oversight and direction to assigned support personnel

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Ohio

• 2-5 years of legal experience in plaintiff or defense-side personal injury litigation

• Prior exposure to insurance defense or claims evaluation is highly desirable

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-moving caseload

• Comfortable operating in a technology-driven office environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar (required)

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong litigation and advocacy capabilities

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate under pressure

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiarity with Needles or similar legal case management software preferred

• Leadership mindset with the ability to supervise support staff effectively
