Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, exchange written discovery, conduct depositions, and engage in trial preparation and advocacy.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel.
• Ensure cases move efficiently and effectively through the litigation process.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Some personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of Texas civil procedure and applicable statutes and laws.
• Trial experience and motivation to try cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective caseload management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
