Assistant Regional Chief Legal Officer - Hospital

The candidate will be responsible for: Providing Legal advice on a broad scope of health care topics related to the operations of hospitals and other system services. Reviewing and drafting physician, vendor, research and service agreements. Guidance on legal structures and operations of regional health care systems such as home health, clinically integrated networks, affiliation agreements and ambulatory projects. Recommendations on the application of health care federal, state, and local laws and regulations which affect the operations of Adventist Health System and advise appropriate personnel of the significance thereof, Medical Staff support. Coordinating with other AdventHealth Legal Services Department members, compliance, risk management and tax departments as needed. Advising on the myriad interesting patient care questions and issues that arise on a regular basis. Efficient management of assigned projects/cases/etc. Must have B. A or B. S. Degree from an accredited university or college. J. D. from an accredited law school is required. Should have 5-10 years of health care related experience. Florida Bar OR eligible for Florida Authorized House Counsel is required.
