Duties

• Communicate proactively with clients to provide updates and claim status.
• Negotiate with insurance companies on behalf of clients.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Supervise non-attorney staff to ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Bar license required.
• At least one year of workers' compensation experience preferred.
• Eligibility to obtain Kansas Bar license.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Missouri Bar license.

Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
