A well-established family law firm is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Attorney to join its Colorado Springs office. Duties:
Manage a full caseload of family law matters from consultation to resolution
Conduct client interviews and develop case strategies tailored to individual needs
Represent clients in court, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Draft and file pleadings, motions, agreements, and parenting plans
Conduct legal research and review financial and case documents
Collaborate with experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel to advance cases
Lead and mentor support staff including paralegals and legal assistants
Conduct regular case reviews and ensure deadlines are met
Maintain consistent and empathetic communication with clients
Uphold firm values of professionalism, empathy, and high performance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a preference for family law background
Ability to manage complex, emotionally sensitive cases with professionalism
Comfortable with in-person court appearances and occasional travel within Colorado
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in Colorado (required)
