A law firm seeks an associate attorney licensed in Nevada and California to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves handling personal injury cases from inception to trial, providing an opportunity to work on a variety of cases including auto accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution.
• Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage.
• Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients.
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar membership in Nevada and California.
• Minimum 3-5 years of personal injury or similar law experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active State Bar membership in Nevada and California.
