Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their creditors' rights practice in Virginia/Maryland. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about technology, excel in dynamic environments, and enjoy working within a collaborative legal team.

Duties

• Represent clients in foreclosure, bankruptcy, replevin, and related court proceedings.
• Draft and review motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Attend court hearings both in person and virtually.
• Provide legal oversight and collaborate with support staff.
• Deliver responsive, client-focused legal services in a high-volume practice.

Requirements

• Licensed in Virginia (Maryland preferred as well).
• 3+ years of experience preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered.
• Strong legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
• Multi-state licensure, litigation, bankruptcy, or collections experience is a plus.
• Federal licensure is advantageous.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia (Maryland preferred).

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based legal platforms.
