A law firm is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join their team in Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate will participate in building the existing practice, engage in significant client contact, and eventually transition into a leadership role. Academically distinguished applicants with excellent writing and analytical skills are encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to estate planning.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and document drafting pertaining to tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and solutions for clients.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings as necessary.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or better in Law.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning.
• Admitted to the state bar and in good standing.
• Demonstrated track record of success in handling complex tax matters.
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
