Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its automotive product liability and warranty litigation practice in Orange County, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, be highly motivated, and possess excellent writing skills. They should be capable of acting independently throughout the discovery process and assisting in trial.

Duties

• Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.
• Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients.
• Review document collections in preparation for litigation.
• Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleading through trial.

Requirements

• Experience in aviation, products liability, or automotive warranty preferred.
• Admitted to the CA bar.
• Experience with California Lemon Law and related acts.
• State and Federal court experience.
• Excellent academic credentials and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
