Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel

Profile

A law firm located in Memphis, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic credentials, superior writing and analytical capabilities, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing.

Duties:

• Participate in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery, including Electronic Discovery processes.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Provide support and mentorship to junior associates and legal staff.

Requirements:

• Federal clerkship background preferred.
• 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation.
• Distinguished academic credentials.
• Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
• Valid law license required.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid law license in good standing.
