Duties:

  • Advise clients on employment law matters, particularly in cross-border and global employment contexts.
  • Conduct due diligence and provide counsel on employment issues in corporate transactions.
  • Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
  • Counsel clients on workforce restructuring, reductions in force, and employee terminations.
  • Develop and review restrictive covenants and provide guidance on employee mobility.
  • Provide strategic advice to emerging businesses on employment law compliance and best practices.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure alignment with global employment regulations.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in employment law to provide proactive client guidance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment counseling (domestic and/or international).

  • Strong understanding of global employment laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with international legal teams.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
