Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Denver is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent writing and communication skills, with proficiency in foreign languages being highly valued. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is a plus.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and provide clearance opinions
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies
• Manage domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings
• Draft and review trademark-related agreements and correspondence
• Provide legal advice and counseling on trademark matters to clients
• Conduct legal research on trademark issues

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar in Colorado (or ability to become admitted)
• 2-5 years of experience practicing trademark law
• Experience with trademark searching, prosecution, and enforcement
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Foreign language proficiency is a plus

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in Colorado (or ability to become admitted)
