Duties

• Handle all phases of litigation, from early case strategy through resolution.
• Draft and argue substantive motions and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions, both fact and expert.
• Manage written discovery efficiently and strategically.
• Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys on case planning and execution.
• Track time accurately and in line with firm standards.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of solid civil litigation experience in state and/or federal court.
• Proven experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple matters with minimal supervision.
• Professional, practical, and client-focused mindset.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.
• Active Ohio law license and good standing, or ability to waive in promptly.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Ohio law license.
