Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor

The candidate will teach courses in intellectual property, bar preparation, legislation & regulation, health law, as well as other courses depending on the needs of the School of Law and on the successful candidate's area of expertise. This is a non-tenure track appointment for a one semester term. Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school or an equivalent foreign degree, such as an LL.B., that would qualify its recipient for the practice of law in the country in which it was granted and an outstanding law school academic record. Factors to be considered in assessing the academic record include: rank in class, participation on law review, participation in other co-curricular activities such as moot court, honors received, and other factors relevant to academic performance. Must have an established track record of teaching and scholarship excellence. Preferred Qualifications: Law teaching experience; outstanding professional record. Responsibilities: Classroom instruction and other duties as assigned by the Dean.
