Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving diverse employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.
• Handle cases involving class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete issues.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in employment law.
• Current Florida Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission.
• Understanding of state and federal agency procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications
