Duties:

• Assist in handling complex litigation files from inception through resolution

• Participate in drafting motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda

• Conduct discovery, depositions, and interviews of fact witnesses

• Collaborate with partners on trial strategy and execution

• Analyze case law and provide practical recommendations to senior attorneys and clients

• Manage client expectations and deadlines with precision and professionalism

Requirements:

• Active license in good standing in Missouri or Kansas, or eligibility for admission within 6 months

• 2-7 years of litigation-focused legal practice, preferably in private practice or from a judicial clerkship

• Demonstrated capability to manage independent casework with minimal supervision

• Effective communicator with a focus on responsive, client-oriented service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar in Missouri or Kansas (or ability to gain admission shortly after hire)

Skills:

• Strong legal writing and analytical abilities

• Comfortable handling depositions, court filings, and motion practice

• Proven time management skills and capacity to multitask
