Duties

• Develop case strategy and provide client counseling
• Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, and manage motions practice
• Prepare for and conduct depositions and witness preparation
• Engage in negotiation and mediation
• Prepare for trial and make court appearances

Requirements

• 1+ years of civil litigation experience, with 3-5+ years preferred
• Active bar admission in Virginia or eligibility to waive in
• Demonstrated litigation experience
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia
