Duties

• Represent injured workers in all phases of California workers’ compensation cases

• Manage a full caseload and guide support staff on case-related tasks

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents

• Attend hearings, depositions, and negotiations as necessary

• Maintain communication with clients, medical providers, and other stakeholders

• Evaluate claims and formulate litigation strategy for favorable resolution

• Provide legal advice and updates to clients throughout the case lifecycle

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in California workers’ compensation law (applicant-side preferred)

• Thorough understanding of workers’ compensation procedures, forms, and regulations

• Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently

• Excellent negotiation and case resolution skills

• Ability to supervise and collaborate with legal support staff

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California (required)
