A law firm seeks an experienced and driven Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join a dynamic legal team. This position is ideal for a talented attorney with a minimum of three years of personal injury litigation (plaintiff-side preferred) experience who is looking to take on a challenging and rewarding caseload. The role offers an opportunity to handle all phases of personal injury litigation, from case intake to trial, and provides the chance to work with a supportive and growing team. This position is based in Houston, TX.

Duties:

• Manage all stages of personal injury cases, including case intake, investigation, discovery, and trial.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and advocate for clients’ best interests.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
• Provide excellent legal representation, ensuring client satisfaction and case success.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff-side preferred).
• Documented trial experience (first-chair or significant second-chair trial involvement)
• Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience in trial preparation and court appearances.
• Effective negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently, while also collaborating with a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Texas law license with at least 5 years of practice in Texas

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and case preparation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in legal software and case management tools.
