Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation attorney in Peoria, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in civil litigation and/or family law. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, with the exception of court appearances, and provides mentorship from experienced attorneys.

Duties

• Represent clients in family law and civil litigation matters.
• Prepare and draft legal documents and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Attend court hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in civil litigation and/or family law.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
