Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including employment matters, facilities and premises issues, torts, contracts, and other areas.

• Draft and file complex pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.

• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

• Develop creative legal arguments based on case law and statutes.

• Manage cases from inception through trial, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

• Advise clients on legal issues and provide guidance throughout the litigation process.

• Collaborate with other attorneys to achieve the best results for clients.

Requirements:

• Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.

• 7-10 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in insurance defense.

• Trial experience is preferred.

• Experience in mediation and arbitration is a plus.

• Proficient in drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and analysis.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to develop and execute effective legal strategies.

• Strong client service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• California State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, with experience in trial and alternative dispute resolution.

• Expertise in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
