Job Overview:
A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking a First Party Property Damage Attorney responsible for representing clients in property damage claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation experience, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their case, demonstrating compassion and earning their trust.
• Provide clients with updates on their case progress and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims status, demands, and offers.
• Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate property damage claims and assess their validity.
• Engage in negotiations with insurance companies to secure favorable settlements.
• Collaborate with legal team members on case strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably with First Party Property Damage experience.
• Member of the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate claims and assess their merit.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Litigation experience.
• Knowledge of First Party Property Damage laws and regulations (preferred).
