International Tax Associate
The candidate serves clients on a variety of international tax planning and compliance matters under the supervision of professionals. Assists in building an awareness of international tax issues and opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients. Performs special tax projects for clients as needed. Performs research activities as international tax issues and opportunities arise. Communicates with clients, the IRS and other business professionals as needed. Understands and applies work procedures and effectively tailors plans as necessary. Maintains awareness of international tax trends and issues, and applies that knowledge to client issues and solutions. Performs other accounting and tax related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel. Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required; Master’s Degree or LL.M. in Taxation is preferred. Certified Public Accountant license or J.D. is preferred. Should preferably have 1+ years of experience in tax with a public accounting firm.
