Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent injured workers in workers' compensation claims, ensuring effective advocacy throughout the legal process.
• Advise clients on their rights and options under workers' compensation law.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including claims, petitions, and motions.
• Negotiate with insurance companies, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Manage and organize case files, documentation, and timelines efficiently.
• Conduct legal research to support case strategy and preparation.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Provide exceptional client service through regular communication and updates on case status.
• Foster and maintain professional relationships with clients, medical professionals, and other relevant parties.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in workers' compensation law.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent client service and communication abilities.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
