Duties

• Draft motions, legal memoranda, and pleadings in commercial litigation cases.
• Oversee discovery and document production in litigation cases.
• Prepare, take, and defend depositions of witnesses.
• Conduct legal research on U.S. statutes, case law, and procedures.
• Communicate with clients regarding case strategy and status.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience representing clients in commercial litigation.
• 1 year of experience in U.S. civil litigation.
• Experience with litigation before U.S. state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in using Westlaw or Lexis for legal research.
• Experience with e-discovery tools, including Relativity.
• 6 months of experience with data privacy class action suits.
• Admitted to practice law in good standing with a U.S. bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent in Law, Legal Studies, or related field.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in a U.S. state, commonwealth, territory, or the District of Columbia.
