Duties

• Manage a caseload involving both first- and third-party insurance litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence

• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations

• Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide case updates

• Participate in trial preparation and attend trials when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in first- and/or third-party insurance litigation

• Experience handling cases from inception through resolution

• Familiarity with insurance defense practices, coverage disputes, and civil litigation procedure

• Strong ability to manage multiple case deadlines and client expectations

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida

• Member in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Proficient in legal research and drafting complex litigation documents
