Job Overview:
A law firm in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will handle many personal injury cases, from intake to resolution. They will manage paralegals, conduct legal research, draft complaints, and represent clients in court.

Duties:

• Marketing for new cases
• Handling intake calls from potential clients
• Ordering and organizing medical records
• Managing paralegals in an HR capacity (timecards, etc.)
• Representing clients in court
• Billing time spent on cases
• Conducting heavy legal research
• Drafting complaints and other legal documents
• Utilizing top-of-the-line staff and case management software
• Moderately utilizing technology for case management
• Providing bilingual assistance if applicable

Requirements:

• Must have a valid North Carolina Bar license
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases and manage time effectively
• Experience in personal injury law or related fields preferred
• Bilingual ability is a plus

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in North Carolina
• Certification or training in personal injury law is advantageous

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing
• Ability to manage paralegals and other staff effectively
• Competent in utilizing case management software
• Familiarity with court procedures and litigation tactics
• Strong negotiation skills
• Fluent in English, bilingual ability in Spanish is a plus
