Location:

• Fairlawn, OH

Duties:

• Manage case files and determine the next course of action for each case
• Represent the firm in pre-trials, trials, mediations, and other court appearances
• Draft and prepare persuasive communication materials and legal documents
• Conduct investigations to uncover facts, causes of action, and necessary next steps
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced setting
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage and organize casework

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation
• 1-2 years of experience in creditors' rights or collections preferred
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment with competing priorities
• Strong investigative and analytical skills
• Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Ohio Bar License

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective communication and persuasive writing skills
• Experience in subrogation or insurance matters is a plus
