Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court. This role requires expertise in civil litigation, with a desire to learn Employment Law. The Associate Attorney must possess strong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice to clients.
• Conduct thorough legal research.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Manage cases effectively from inception to resolution.
• Handle depositions effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the Florida or Georgia Bar Association.
• Experience in civil litigation and a desire to learn Employment Law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in Employment Law, medical malpractice, and/or workers' compensation cases is a plus.
