A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate in Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners and senior associates on diverse litigation matters, representing clients in state and federal courts and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court submission.
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, including hearings and trials.
• Communicate with clients to provide case updates and legal advice.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and meet deadlines.
• Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
• Review and analyze documents relevant to litigation matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
• 5-10 years of experience in litigation.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
