A law firm seeks an entry-level attorney to join the General Liability group in Philadelphia, PA. The successful candidate will handle a variety of general liability and defense litigation matters across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Draft pleadings, respond to written discovery, and participate in depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Travel for court appearances and client meetings as necessary.
• Work remotely with occasional in-office presence in Philadelphia.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation.
• Active bar licenses in PA and NJ.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Interest in liability defense.
• Clerkship experience is a plus.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
