Litigation Attorney

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney licensed in both Arizona and Colorado with legal experience to join our growing firm. The firm specializes in construction-related matters, with a strong emphasis on litigation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Represent clients in all phases of construction-related litigation including discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial 

• Draft and negotiate construction and professional services contracts for multi-million and multi-billion-dollar projects 

• Provide claims counseling and legal support throughout project lifecycles 

• Communicate with clients and insurance carriers regularly to provide status updates and strategic recommendations 

• Manage cases independently and collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys 

• Assist with lien actions, dispute resolution, appellate work. 

Qualifications: 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 

• Licensed and in good standing with both the Arizona and Colorado State Bars (required) 

• Legal experience, preferably in construction litigation, insurance defense, or related practice areas. 

• Familiarity with public and private construction projects and related legal issues 

• Strong legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills 

• Ability to handle complex litigation matters independently and as part of a team 

• Experience working with insurance clients and carriers is preferred
