A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join its Houston-based team. Location:

• Houston, TX

Duties:

• Manage family law cases from intake to final resolution

• Provide legal counsel on matters including divorce, custody, modifications, and child support

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and consultations

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence

• Prepare and deliver case updates including monthly client status reports and weekly internal reviews

• Maintain compliance with performance metrics and client satisfaction benchmarks

• Collaborate with practice managers on case strategy and improvements

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years practicing family law in Texas (5+ years preferred)

• Valid license to practice law in Texas (active and in good standing)

• Passion for courtroom appearances, mediation, and client advocacy

• Strong research, writing, and drafting skills

• Familiarity with legal case management tools such as Clio, TxDoc, or similar platforms

• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration

• High level of organization and attention to detail

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas (required)

Skills:

• Litigation and mediation experience in family law

• Legal writing and document drafting

• Case management using legal software

• Client communication and service excellence

• Strong time management and multitasking abilities

• Familiarity with Texas family law statutes and court procedures
