Docket Specialist - Intellectual Property

The candidate will coordinate all aspects of IP docketing for U.S. and international IP portfolios with a focus on all matters related to trademarks, patents, and domain names. Prepare and distribute docket reports as requested by attorneys and legal teams to ensure that all deadlines are met. Maintain direct contact with internal clients to ensure daily docket deadlines are satisfied. Preserve and audit the docket database, including entering, clearing and updating filing due dates and reminders. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the docket database to create specialized reports and make appropriate changes as necessary. Assist with intake and auditing of all Intellectual Property transferred files. Coordinate client communications and the integrity of electronic case records. Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and legislative rulings impacting all IP procedures and regulations. Communicate with USPTO or relevant trademark jurisdiction to confirm deadlines. Identify policies and procedures that can be improved and suggest operational enhancements to the Docket Department.
