Duties

  • Lead and advise clients on business tax matters, including Opportunity Zone deals.
  • Advise on federal, state, and local tax credit programs.
  • Provide tax analysis and structuring advice for M&A transactions.
  • Structure tax-efficient strategies for real estate development projects.
  • Advise on general corporate and partnership tax matters.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business tax law.
  • Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven leadership ability with a collaborative approach.

Education

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Taxation preferred but not required.
